Merry Maids is a franchised home cleaning brand with a network of 400+ franchise locations and a lean, passionate corporate team. We help people build thriving local businesses, and our work directly supports real families, real communities, and real growth. Now, we’re looking for someone who can help us scale even better—from the inside out.
Work Location: This role is mostly remote with some travel. We need candidates in the Atlanta, Memphis, or Las Vegas areas.
Operations Coordinator:
Think of this role as part Executive Assistant, part Chief of Staff, and 100% essential. As our Operations Coordinator, you’ll work directly across our corporate team, diving into projects big and small. One minute you might be coordinating logistics for an all-hands meeting or prepping slides for a leadership presentation, and the next you’re supporting behind the scenes details for our annual franchisee conference. No two days will be the same, and that’s exactly how you like it.
This is a high-visibility role with huge growth potential for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and eager to learn how we operate as a franchisor to support our franchisees from every angle.
What you will do:
- Support cross-functional projects that benefit franchisees, internal teams, and the brand
- Develop and maintain shared calendars for both internal team members and the franchise network
- Coordinate logistics for staff meetings, franchisee meetings, webinars, and the annual conference, including scheduling, agendas, materials, set-ups, follow-ups, travel, and accommodations
- Host virtual meetings, ensuring invitations are accurate, RSVPs are tracked, and technical needs are supported
- Create polished presentations, reports, and communications for internal and external use
- Run reports from various platforms and organize data in Excel to support decision-making
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team and step in to support other internal teams with project-based work when needed
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for franchisees as they join or exit the brand
- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and franchisees for a variety of initiatives
- Support franchise relationship programs and act as the first point of contact for corporate-received franchisee customer questions or complaints
- Maintain organization by managing task lists, deadlines, tools, and process documentation
- Quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms and systems
- Flex Across Functions: Adapt to business needs by taking on a variety of operational, logistical, licensing, technology, procedural, presentation and training, planning, reporting, and other initiatives to drive brand and franchise success
- Demonstrate Professional and Compassionate Communications: Consistently convey professionalism, warmth, and respect in all interactions with staff and franchisees, using effective verbal and written communication to build strong relationships, instill confidence in brand leadership, and foster trust in our abilities, while guiding and empowering team members to do the same
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of the business
What you will bring:
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with eagerness to contribute from day one
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in building presentations and working with tools such as PowerPoint, Google Suite, Excel, and project management platforms
- Comfort with learning and adapting to new technology quickly
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to support, coordinate, and adapt as needed
- Strong passion for customer service and relationship management
- Experience in administrative, project coordination, or operations support roles (experience in a startup, franchise, or small-team environment is a plus)
Compensation: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of
factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not
limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other
business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been
adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at
which the position may be filled. At SMB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired
at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of
the current range is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
