About the Opportunity:


A purpose-driven fintech organization is seeking Operations Coordinators to join their Collections team in a full-time, remote role. This position focuses on engaging with past-due cardholders to help them navigate repayment and financial recovery using data, technology, and professional service.


Responsibilities:


• Professionally engage with customers over the phone regarding past due payments.

• Utilize multiple software systems to manage customer accounts and document interactions.

• Approach customers respectfully, identifying reasons for delinquency.

• Negotiate and problem-solve to establish mutually beneficial repayment plans.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while delivering quality customer service.


Requirements:


• Minimum one year of experience in a customer-focused, solutions-oriented role.

• Demonstrated negotiation and influence skills with success in overcoming objections.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to quickly identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.

• Composure and ability to de-escalate challenging conversations.

• Balance empathy and persuasion to facilitate repayment.

• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems rapidly.

• Growth mindset open to feedback and continuous improvement.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Direct experience in consumer debt resolution.

• Familiarity with contact center technologies such as dialers and Zendesk.

• Proficiency with platforms including Mac OS, Google Workspace, Tableau, and Slack.

• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations such as FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, BSA, SCRA, MLA, and UDAAP.

Compensation:


• Starting hourly pay range: $17.25 to $19.20.

• Pay rate based on experience, education, certifications, skills, and competencies.
