Position: Teaching Assistant – Postsecondary
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $49–$98/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Support instructors with course materials, assignments, and online learning resources.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work and discussions.
- Facilitate and moderate online discussions while responding to student inquiries.
- Assist with grading, tracking student progress, and preparing academic reports.
- Offer academic guidance to help students understand course content and expectations.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging virtual classroom environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant academic field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in online learning platforms and digital collaboration tools.
- Experience supporting postsecondary students through tutoring or academic assistance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setup.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
