ExpoGenie is the exhibitor & sponsor revenue system for modern events. We help associations, agencies, and organizers sell booths and sponsorships, manage fulfillment, reconcile payments, and deliver a better exhibitor experience. All without replacing their registration or AMS platform.

The Role
We’re hiring a Customer Onboarding Specialist to own the most important phase of the customer journey. The first 4–6 weeks.
This role is 100% focused on onboarding and implementation. No renewals. No upsells. No long-term account ownership.
Your job is simple (but critical):
Get customers live, confident, and seeing value fast.
Once onboarding is complete, you’ll hand the customer off with clear documentation and a clean success state.
What You’ll Do
- Own customer onboarding from kickoff through go-live (typically 4–6 weeks)
- Lead onboarding calls, trainings, and configuration sessions
- Help customers set up core ExpoGenie workflows (exhibitors, sponsors, booths, tasks, payments)
- Guide customers through best practices and help modernize outdated workflows
- Ensure customers reach a clearly defined “onboarding complete” success state
- Identify risks early and proactively unblock customers
- Create clean handoff notes and onboarding summaries for post-onboarding ownership
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Support to deliver a smooth launch experience
- Continuously improve onboarding playbooks, checklists, and templates
Who You Are

Requirements
- 2+ years in a customer-facing role (Onboarding, Customer Success, Implementation, Project Management, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- Solid technical aptitude and comfort learning new tools quickly
- Experience with SaaS platforms or operational workflows
- Experience in events, marketing ops, or sponsorship/exhibitor workflows is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Compensation
- $65,000 – $80,000 total compensation, depending on experience and location
- Base salary with optional performance bonus tied to onboarding outcomes
- Equity and benefits included

- 100% Remote
- Preference for East or Central Time Zones (to align with customer schedules)
