Role Description The Network Administrator is a full-time, on-site role located in Burlington, NJ, responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s network and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network performance, configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, and ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for users. The role involves diagnosing and resolving network and system issues, managing user access and permissions, and performing routine updates, backups, and patching. The Network Administrator collaborates with other technical staff to support hardware and software deployments, document network configurations, and implement best practices for security and uptime. This position also includes providing technical support to internal users, responding to service requests, and assisting with IT projects and improvements.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Security for managing, configuring, and securing network infrastructure.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist users effectively.
  • Candidates should possess skills in System Administration to manage servers, operating systems, and related IT resources.
  • Relevant experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi management, and firewall technologies is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, backup solutions, and IT documentation practices is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar credentials are an asset.
