Position Overview:
Weathermatic is seeking a high-performance Sales Executive – National Accounts to lead business growth across national corporate, investor-owned, and municipal portfolios. This role combines full-cycle enterprise sales (Account Executive) with proactive outbound prospecting (Business Development Rep), enabling you to build and close a pipeline of high-value SmartLink opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution
- Own the full sales cycle — from discovery to pilot launch to national rollout.
- Identify, qualify, and close strategic enterprise, REIT, and municipal contracts.
- Design and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to C-level, ESG, and operational stakeholders.
- Drive pilot programs and ensure successful conversion to multi-site deployment.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and account strategies.
Business Development
- Source new opportunities through strategic outbound outreach and referral networks.
- Map and target high-value accounts with significant water spend or ESG mandates.
- Engage key decision-makers, including sustainability directors, facility managers, and asset managers.
- Work cross-functionally to align sales tactics with strategic growth objectives.
Channel & Partner Development
- Develop and manage channel relationships with national FM firms, consultants, and service contractors.
- Collaborate on joint sales efforts, pilot scoping, and partner-sourced opportunities.
- Establish Weathermatic as the go-to irrigation and water optimization solution.
Preferred Attributes:
- Knowledge of Sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., LEED, GRESB, CDP).
- Familiarity with water management, smart city technologies, or facilities systems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with self-starter drive and a growth-oriented attitude.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8–10+ years in enterprise sales or business development, ideally in smart tech, CRE, Sustainability Services, Water Conservation, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and complex deals.
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Experience selling to corporate real estate, REITs, or public-sector clients.
