Our hiring partners are excited to bring on a new National Accounts Director to continue to build their luxury spirits portfolio across retail chains (national & regional) across the US.
What You’ll Do
• Own national account strategy across both retail and on-premise, leading RFPs, joint business planning, and customer plans that actually drive depletion and market share
• Build and deepen relationships with key national/regional chain accounts, SGWS chain/NAM teams, and industry influencers to keep the brand top of mind
• Drive growth through smart distribution expansion, backbar and cocktail mandates, in-store programming, education, and national activations
• Partner closely with marketing and commercial strategy to execute programs that are profitable, measurable, and aligned with brand priorities
• Manage trade and T&E budgets with discipline, evaluate ROI, and lead pricing strategy across national retailers
• Keep the broader team aligned with clear reporting, performance tracking, competitive insights, and accurate forecasting
What We’re Looking For
• Must have premium spirits or wine experience and experience working with the spirits buying team at Total Wine & More
• 10+ years in the industry across distributor, retail, or on-premise, with real national account exposure
• Someone comfortable operating in a smaller, high-expectation environment where autonomy and initiative matter
• Strong operator who can juggle multiple priorities, manage budgets, and execute without heavy oversight
• Confident relationship builder who knows how to navigate both boardrooms and social environments
• Clear communicator who can translate strategy into action across internal teams and distributor partners
• Flexible and hands-on, including nights, weekends, travel, and the occasional case lift when needed
