As the music composer, you will craft original tracks tailored to specific in-game environments, enhancing the player experience with memorable melodies and atmospheric soundscapes. The project is in its early conceptual stages, offering creative freedom to experiment with a range of moods beyond traditional space themes. You will collaborate closely with the game developer, who will provide musical references and guidance to ensure the music aligns with the desired style and gameplay dynamics.

Deliverables

• Compose one or more original music tracks suitable for looping or with fade-in/fade-out structure
• Develop tracks that focus on strong melodies and avoid excessive layering
• Ensure seamless integration of music within the Godot engine
• Incorporate feedback and iterate on compositions as needed
• Deliver high-quality audio files in required formats for game implementation
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience composing music for games, media, or personal projects
• Strong melodic writing skills and ability to create engaging, memorable themes
• Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music production software
• Ability to produce tracks that loop seamlessly or feature fade-in/fade-out as required
• Familiarity with a variety of moods and genres, with openness to creative direction
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
