Role Overview
The Multimedia Creative will be joining RUNE's small but growing team to deliver impactful, high-quality video content and digital assets for indie game developers and publishers.
This role involves editing game trailers, creating social media video content, and producing eye-catching motion graphics that drive wishlists, sales, and revenue for indie games.
Reporting to the Marketing Direct and their team's Campaign Manager, the Multimedia Creative will assist with the production of visual assets. The role requires a deep enthusiasm for the indie game industry, a passion for creative storytelling, and a commitment to delivering exceptional assets for indie devs.
This position is ideal for a creative professional with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in video editing and multimedia design, who thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to make a meaningful impact in the indie game space.
Key Details
Pay: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (core hours: Monday-Thursday, 11 AM-4 PM).
Location: UK, remote.
33 days total annual leave. All bank holidays (and a 10-day company-wide break between Christmas and New Year) plus your flexible days to use whenever you want.
This is a full-time, UK-based remote position, though preference may be given to applicants close to our offices in the East Midlands. Our core hours are from 11 AM - 5 PM - you’re free to work the rest of your hours whenever you choose! Earlier, later: we don’t mind. You’ll be joining a small but growing team dedicated to giving indie devs the marketing they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
Produce highly engaging game trailers, UA creatives, images, and promotional videos tailored to indie game clients.
Edit and optimize short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
Deliver key campaign video assets on time, ensuring they meet the strategic goals of the marketing team.
Motion Graphics & Asset Creation
Design and animate text, logos, and UI elements to elevate video content.
Create static and animated digital assets for store pages, social media platforms, and advertising campaigns.
Lead the visual style for your portfolio, utilizing your understanding of game platforms like Steam.
Project Collaboration
Independently manage your creative pipeline with regular check-ins from the Marketing Director and your Campaign Manager, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional visual quality.
Work closely with campaign managers to align visual assets with broader marketing strategies.
Address day-to-day creative revisions and feedback effectively.
Experience & Skills
2-4 years’ experience in video editing or multimedia design
Strong portfolio showcasing video game content, social media content, and motion graphics
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Exceptional eye for pacing, audio synchronization, and visual composition
Excellent commitment to quality and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines effectively
Familiarity with short-form video best practices (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch)
