Position: TV and Movies Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20–$40/hour
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author realistic prompts spanning film analysis, television storytelling, genre comparison, character development, screenwriting structure, industry trends, and media history.
- Review and revise AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, narrative insight, cultural authenticity, and clarity.
- Write high-quality human-authored “gold” responses for complex interpretive or comparative entertainment questions.
- Create controlled prompt variations that test subtle differences in genre, cultural context, time period, audience demographic, or production style.
- Evaluate outputs across different tones (critical, analytical, conversational, industry-focused) and instruction constraints.
- Identify model failure cases involving incorrect plot details, misattribution, shallow analysis, outdated references, or culturally inconsistent interpretations.
Must-Have
- 2+ years of sustained, serious engagement with film and television as a hobby or analytical pursuit.
- Active participation in TV and film discourse within at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
- Strong familiarity with regional film industries, television formats, genre traditions, and culturally specific storytelling norms within your language context.
- Ability to articulate narrative structure, thematic analysis, and media critique clearly in the target language.
- Strong written communication skills and thoughtful editorial judgment.
