Job Title: MSK Physiotherapist

Location: Home based with travel in the North East to cover clinics

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Right to live & work within the UK is required for this role

Role Summary

As an Occupational Health Physiotherapist, you'll play a key role in helping employees with musculoskeletal and physical health conditions, supporting their safe and sustainable return to work. This is a home-based role with some travel required (within the North East) to one location for face-to-face assessments. These could include DSE assessments, driver assessments, workplace assessments, and initial assessments. You'll also write detailed reports to advise employers on fitness to work, functional capability, and any recommended workplace adjustments.

Along with assessments, you'll deliver physiotherapy treatments, support self-management, and offer follow-up reviews. The role also involves helping employees with functional restoration programmes and ensuring they're supported through their recovery process.

While previous Occupational Health experience isn't necessary, you'll need to be confident in your physiotherapy skills. You'll receive training in Occupational Health, but it's important you're comfortable working with the flag system, using outcome measures, and managing musculoskeletal conditions with a biopsychosocial approach. The role works standard hours from 08:30 to 16:30, with travel for face-to-face assessments part of the working day. Mileage is paid at £0.45 per mile, and the post holder must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle.

You'll only need to travel to one location at a time when assessments are required, making it a flexible and rewarding role with great support and training.
