Job Summary
You will be responsible for evaluating loan quality based on existing underwriting guidelines and information and documentation provided in the loan file. Duties/Responsibilities

- Perform pre-funding audits to ensure adherence with Bank guidelines and procedures
- Preform Post-Close QC audits of all closed loan documentation to ensure adherence bank, regulatory and investor guidelines.
- Re-validate prudent loan information in files to ensure their accuracy
- Assist in compiling trending data for audit reports for Sr. Management
- Communicate decisions to all parties and build relationships with both internal and external partners
- Oversight over post-closing reverifications, exclusionary lists, and concurrent rates of post-closing QC vendors
- Assist in configuring LoanSafe Fraud Manager via Client Supplied Watchlist, FNMA’s AQM, and other data ingestion

Education & Experience
- 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience
- Working knowledge of the mortgage lending process, including the underwriting, processing, closing, and compliance areas
- Working knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC underwriting standards and Seller/Servicer guidelines is desired
- FHA/VA and Non-QM experience is desired
