Responsibilities
- Collaborate hands-on with the Game Director and Game Producer to support and evolve the creative direction for our games.
- Define and drive the artistic vision across all products, actively contributing to the creation of new games, prototypes, and in-depth designs for titles slated for scale-up.
- Lead and personally contribute to the creation and delivery of all art assets, including 2D and 3D visuals, VFX, UI/UX, Animation, and more.
- Maintain a consistent visual style, ensuring all assets are cohesive and meet our high-quality standards.
- Work closely with game design and engineering teams to understand and communicate gameplay mechanics through visuals.
- Anticipate project challenges, propose solutions, and set high-level goals for your team.
- Optimize art content for performance across various platforms while balancing visual quality.
- Mentor, manage, and work alongside the Art team, sharing best practices and contributing directly to art deliverables.
- Stay current with the latest trends and techniques in game art and visual effects, applying this knowledge to improve our offerings.
- A game-maker mentality, with a holistic view of how art supports game design and impacts the player experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Art Lead, with a proven track record of shipping new IPs from concept to launch.
- Hands-on expertise in creating and delivering art assets, UI, VFX, and animation across all visual aspects of game development.
- The ability to conceptualize, articulate, and realize an artistic vision that enhances the gaming experience and has broad appeal.
- Extensive experience with industry-standard art tools and software to meet all visual needs.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of artists and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey artistic concepts and provide clear feedback.
- Strong problem-solving skills, balancing creative vision with technical constraints and deadlines to deliver high-quality assets.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to change and managing uncertainty.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in game art and visual effects.
