Role definition
We are looking for an experienced Migration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in cloud and infrastructure transformation programs. The role demands an execution-focused professional who can lead and support large-scale workload and application migrations across VMware, AWS, and legacy environments, while ensuring minimal business disruption and strong governance.
Expected qualification and critical experiences –
- Drive VMware workload migration to cloud environments.
- Execute AWS infrastructure migration initiatives.
- Perform legacy Windows server migration and modernization.
- Support application rehosting and platform transitions.
- Handle Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision migration or support activities.
- Conduct dependency mapping, cutover planning, and rollback planning.
- Ensure business continuity planning during migration programs.
- Bring awareness and execution capability around security and vulnerability remediation.
Mandatory Skills and Certification:
- Hands-on experience in VMware and AWS migration projects.
- Strong understanding of legacy infrastructure and application migration strategies.
- Experience with dependency mapping and migration planning.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and execution capability in live migration scenarios.
- Awareness of security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation practices.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
