We are looking for experienced Medical Secretaries to join our team. Working from home, you can do as much or little as you want, typing dictated medical letters from NHS Trusts and Private Healthcare organisations around the UK.
DICT8 is the UK's leading medical transcription service for the NHS and private healthcare providers. We enable them to outsource their medical typing. They dictate their letters in the normal way, and we provide them with typed documents that are sent securely through the internet, ready for printing and posting. We don't use AI as it can never replace a proper medical secretary!

- You can manage your own work: you decide how much transcription you wish to undertake and are paid on a per line of transcription basis. You control when you want to work and when you want to take time off. There is no minimum or maximum amount that you have to do.

- As you would be a self-employed contractor you can do our transcription in conjunction with, or instead of, any other employment that you may have. It can provide you with either a main source of income or supplement your existing one.
How it works
- The doctor dictates as usual and sends the work to us.
- You view a list of available work on the system through your web browser. This work is filtered by speciality and each dictation can be previewed so that you are only doing work that you feel comfortable with.
- The transcription is done through your web browser - there is no need to install any specialist software.
- You invoice DICT8 Ltd for the transcription work that you have done.
