Akkodi's is seeking a Medical Record Review Associate for a 6 Months contract position in United States. Prior Experience reviewing medical records in both English and Canadian French (Canadian French preferred, but other French dialects acceptable) comes as a plus.


Job Title : Medical Record Review Associate

100% Remote Job Opportunity

6 Months contract


Pay Range: $23/hr. - $25/hour on W2 (without benefits), the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Time zone: Local Time Zone

Work Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Local Time Zone - Some OT may be available.

Training Schedule: There will be a two-week training period where we will need everyone on the same 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST schedule. Once training is complete the team member can select a different schedule to accommodate their time zone and preference.

Position Overview:

The Medical Record Review Associate is a role supporting clinical review activities. This position assists with reviewing medical records, interpreting clinical documentation, and maintaining workflow accuracy. The ideal candidate has a clinical background (LPN, RN, or similar), strong attention to detail, and comfort working with digital tools in a remote environment.


As a Medical Record Review Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring excellent customer service internally and/or externally.

• Generates required program reports or documentation accurately and on time.

• Actively participates in the development of departmental procedures and process documentation.

• Uses subject matter expertise in everyday tasks to meet the teams objectives, make recommendations based on the interpretation/synthesis of data, and assess team needs to determine action.

• Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement.

• Assists in the planning and/or execution of special projects.

• Ensures the protection of sensitive information.

• Resolves technical and subject matter issues.

• Collaborating with others to identify and resolve issues or process improvements.

• Acts as a liaison within group and throughout organization to meet client needs and coordinate service delivery.

• Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Assisting with the creation, documentation, and implementation of departmental procedures.

• Participating in meetings and being a dependable resource on assigned projects.

• Assists management with escalations when applicable.

• Assists with training.

• Effectively escalates issues and acts as first point of escalation for Associate I.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or 1-3 years equivalent work experience.

• 3 plus years of experience working in specialized area related to this role.

• Demonstrates outstanding internal and external client service skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective problem-solving ability.

• Able to adapt to constantly changing environment.

• Accustomed to successfully meeting critical deadlines.

• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
