About the RoleWe are a growing digital media network operating several health and wellness informational websites. To ensure our content meets the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and search engine guidelines (specifically Google's YMYL and E-E-A-T standards), we are seeking a credentialed, published medical professional to join our team as a Medical Content Reviewer.
In this low-friction, flexible role, you will review up to 60 short-form articles per month. Your primary responsibility is to verify the medical accuracy of the content and provide your professional sign-off. This is an excellent opportunity for a practicing physician, specialist, or clinical pharmacist looking for supplemental income through flexible, remote moonlighting.
Key Responsibilities• Content Review: Read and review up to 60 health and wellness articles per month for medical accuracy, safety, and scientific validity.
• Sign-Off: Provide a formal "Reviewed by" sign-off for approved articles, which will include a timestamped review log line.
• Public Profile: Allow the use of your name, credentials, and a link to your professional profile (LinkedIn, Doximity, ORCID, or institutional page) on our websites to establish trust and verifiability.
• Bio Page: Collaborate with our team to create a public reviewer bio page detailing your credentials, institutional affiliation, and publication history.
Required QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria to satisfy strict search engine verifiability standards:
• Degree: Active MD, DO, or PharmD.
• Verifiable Credentials: Must possess a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) or an active ORCID profile.
• Publication History: Must be a published author in recognized medical or scientific journals.
• Digital Footprint: Must have a verifiable professional digital presence (e.g., an active LinkedIn profile, Doximity profile, or a profile on a recognized hospital/university website).
• Specialty: While all qualified medical professionals will be considered, preference will be given to those with backgrounds in Emergency Medicine, Toxicology, Cardiology, Pharmacology, or Sexual Medicine.
