Mechanical Process Engineer – Industrial Brownfield Project
Location: Remote (UK, Germany, Netherlands), with occasional site visits
We are looking for a Mechanical Process Engineer to join an exciting brownfield industrial project. You will be involved in upgrading and optimising existing process equipment and systems in a live operational facility, contributing to improvements in efficiency, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise mechanical designs for bulk material handling and separation systems
- Work on crushers, conveyors, screens, and associated mechanical structures
- Produce and review CAD drawings and technical documentation
- Support integration of new equipment into an operational facility
- Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
Candidate Profile:
- 2–3 years of CAD design experience in an industrial environment
- Background in mechanical process systems, mining, mineral processing, steelworks, or other heavy industrial settings
- Experience with bulk material handling or high-wear mechanical systems
- Comfortable working in a live, brownfield environment
- Fluent in English
