The stated pay range is based on a national average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus-eligible.

CNO Financial Group’s Marketing Team is hiring a Media Marketing Assistant to contribute to the media team with a focus on ensuring the media runs as ordered. This role will monitor paid media and will use judgment to find resolutions and work with vendors when media is not run correctly. The Marketing Media Assistant will work closely with the Media Buyer(s) and work with pre/post logs, station set-up, and trafficking. This position may also provide coverage to other Marketing roles as needed.

As a Media Marketing Assistant , your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Media Buyer(s) on daily buying processes: data entry, station set-ups, payment set-ups, etc.
  • Participating in internal and external weekly conference calls regarding media and/or production results
  • Verifying media runs as ordered and negotiating station credit when needed
  • Ordering customized dubs from vendors.
  • Overseeing creative approvals.
  • Traffic instructions to stations and gather confirmations.
  • Reconciling invoices within CoreDirect media system
  • Obtain station avails.
  • Request and distribute daily pre-logs and weekly post-logs.
  • Review marketing/finance reports and test plans as needed.
  • Support telemarketing management as needed - allocating 800#s and sharing with vendors.


The Media Marketing Assistant position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Possess a solid understanding of TV/OTT/Audio/OOH
  • Have familiarity with CoreDirect Media Management system
  • Demonstrate proficiency in media metrics and working knowledge of media research tools
  • Can collaborate and interact with outside vendors and partners


What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of prior work experience in Media or Marketing
  • Willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours
