About Girls With Impact:

Girls With Impact (GWI) is the nation’s only live, online business and leadership program for young women aged 14-24. With over 20,000 students impacted to date and on a bold mission to reach 50,000 in the next 5 years, we’re equipping the next generation with the tools, confidence, and network to succeed in school, college, career, and life.

We’re looking for a creative, driven, and strategic Marketing Manager who’s passionate about storytelling and impact. If you thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and want to use your marketing skills to advance a powerful mission - this is your opportunity!

The Role

The Marketing Manager will lead GWI’s brand storytelling, campaigns, and digital engagement across all platforms to grow our reach, student recruitment, and event/donor engagement. Reporting to the President & COO, this person will oversee marketing planning, creative execution, and communications for our programs and events.

This is a role for a hand-on creator and strategist who can manage campaigns from concept to completion – designing assets, writing copy and analyzing results – all while keeping GWI’s mission and voice front and center.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Own and manage the annual marketing calendar, aligning campaigns with programming, seasonal initiatives, and events.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that grow awareness, increase enrollment, and convert audience engagement.
  • Lead quarterly analytics reporting and use insights to guide data-driven decisions.

Creative Development & Brand Voice

  • Create compelling content across email, social, website, and video channels — ensuring consistency in tone, look, and feel.
  • Maintain and evolve brand and style guidelines across platforms.
  • Develop creative assets, write copy, and oversee production for campaigns, events, and announcements.

Digital Communications

  • Manage GWI’s email marketing (Mailchimp) and donor/event platforms (Givebutter or similar) to increase actions.
  • Execute newsletters and event communications from start to finish — including segmentation, design, copy, and scheduling.
  • Maintain and update website content.

Social Media & Thought Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day management of GWI’s social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), developing and posting content to grow followers and CTA engagement.
  • Coordinate and amplify thought leadership content from the CEO and organizational channels, including LinkedIn newsletters and funding partner collaborations.
  • Create and edit video clips to showcase impact and highlight events, optimized for CTAs.

Event Marketing & Communications

  • Build event communication and collateral that inspire participation and extend engagement through powerful post-event storytelling.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Support recruitment campaigns in collaboration with the Programs team.
  • Partner with the Development team to align donor campaigns that increase giving and retention across communications.
  • Manage seasonal marketing interns and guide creative projects from planning through delivery.

What You Bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end campaigns and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong design, writing, and storytelling skills — with professional experience managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and using marketing and creative tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, and video or content editing software.
  • Experience with donation and event platforms like Givebutter or Classy, and proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) or similar business tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms (preferred).
  • Based in the NYC/Fairfield County, CT area and able to attend in-person events and meetings as part of the role.
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

The Right Fit

You’re creative and analytical. You love crafting content that moves people — and you care deeply about making a difference. You’re organized, proactive, and excited to collaborate across teams to bring campaigns to life. Most of all, you’re passionate about helping young women realize their potential.

Status & Location
  • Full-time, remote within (or in local commuting distance of) the NYC / Fairfield County, CT area. The role requires occasional in-person support for events and meetings.
  • Reports to: President, COO
  • Salary: $55,000–$70,000 (based on experience)
