Pfizer is offering a standout opportunity for students who want to gain real experience inside one of the world’s most respected pharmaceutical organisations. This 12-month placement sits within the Primary Care Marketing team, working across a broad portfolio of medicines that make a major impact on patients’ lives.
You’ll be joining the team at a pivotal moment, supporting launch activities for a newly introduced medicine and contributing directly to operational planning, insight generation and brand execution. It’s hands-on marketing experience with real responsibility from day one.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Supporting the delivery of UK brand plans across the Primary Care portfolio
- Creating high-quality brand materials for healthcare professional audiences
- Bringing customer insights into the team to help shape brand tactics
- Coordinating cross-functional projects with field teams and central stakeholders
- Working closely with UK and Global marketing teams on campaign activity
- Contributing ideas around digital and multi-channel engagement
This placement gives you the chance to develop core business skills in communication, project coordination, multitasking and leadership. You’ll gain exposure to day-to-day brand management, learn how large-scale healthcare campaigns come to life, and understand how cross-functional teams operate in a fast-moving commercial environment.

Who can apply:
Applicants must be completing a placement as part of a UK university degree (Year in Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year).
On track for a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or Life Sciences.
Strong organisation, communication and analytical skills are essential.
