Marianco is looking for a Marketing Intern to support our communication, advocacy, and awareness efforts.
About the Organization
Marianco is a global non-profit organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable children and ending exploitation in all its forms, including trafficking, abuse, and child pornography.
Our work is built on four core pillars: prevention, protection, advocacy, and rehabilitation. We are currently in our initial startup phase, building systems, teams, and impact from the ground up.
All internships at Marianco are volunteer-based and designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience while contributing to an urgent global cause.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X)
- Design simple graphics and flyers using Canva (free version)
- Draft captions, short articles, and awareness messages
- Schedule posts using Meta Business Suite (free tools)
- Support email newsletters using free mailing tools
- Assist with website updates (WordPress or similar platforms)
- Help promote campaigns, events, webinars, and advocacy programs
- Conduct basic research on trends, hashtags, and audience engagement
- Track simple performance metrics (reach, likes, shares, engagement)
Requirements & Ideal Profile
- Interest in marketing, communications, digital media, or non-profit work
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms
- Familiarity with Canva and willingness to learn new tools
- Good written communication skills in English
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Motivation to contribute to social impact and child protection causes
Previous experience is a plus, but not required.
