Part-Time Graphic Designer_Marketing
Smart, scalable design for B2B and D2C healthcare marketing
The Sage Group’s client is transforming health insurance by removing financial barriers to care. Their $0 out-of-pocket plan helps members get the care they need—without the surprise bills. Originally a leader in national COVID-19 testing, they now provide affordable, simple, and engaging health coverage for employers and their teams.
The marketing team supports brand awareness, employer/broker acquisition, and member education—driving action at every stage of the customer journey.
About the Role
We’re seeking a part-time Graphic Designer (average 10 hours/week with potential to increase) to bring strong business-oriented design thinking to our marketing efforts. You should have a B2B design background and the ability to create compelling, high-performing assets for both employer-facing and member-facing (D2C) audiences. You demonstrate a strong understanding of how design drives business results—not just visual appeal.
Projects will span campaign creative, sales enablement tools, and member education. You’ll support ongoing project work, weekly assignments, and occasional quick-turn requests (which we aim to minimize with good planning). You’ll meet bi-weekly with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Senior Director of Events and Marketing Ops, with additional marketing team members, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design compelling decks and reports in Google Slides for employers, brokers, and additional external audiences.
- Create ad-ready assets for LinkedIn, display, and large-scale outdoor placements
- Support design for member communications, including onboarding, emails, guides, mailers and educational materials
- Build branded templates in Canva for repeatable use across teams
- Apply brand guidelines across formats while tailoring to different audiences
- Ensure design supports marketing and business goals (engagement, clarity, conversion)
- Participate in weekly check-ins, async reviews, and collaborate cross-functionally
- Prep print-ready files and liaise with vendors when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of design experience, ideally in-house at a B2B company or with a strong client portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to flex between B2B (sales decks, ad campaigns) and D2C (edu materials) design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Canva, and Claude or other AI tool
- AI forward design – know when and how to use AI, for efficiency
- Solid grasp of layout, hierarchy, typography, and brand systems
- Strong portfolio showing clean, effective designs across marketing channels
- Experience working with tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders, and shifting priorities
Ideal candidates also:
- You design with a business purpose in mind
- You’re collaborative, flexible, and fast—but don’t compromise on quality
- You enjoy shaping visual systems, not just producing assets
- You value structure, feedback, and clear communication
This is a part-time role (10 hours per week, may flex up if you’re available) – full-time consultant is ideal (not an option for freelance on top of a full -time job) – realistic turnaround expectations
Long-term contract, one year plus (long-term, on-going)
100% remote within the United States
