About the Role

RecSkills is assisting its client in hiring a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing operations, content coordination, and digital campaign activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with marketing tools, supporting brand visibility, and contributing to marketing strategies in a fully remote environment.

You will collaborate with the client’s marketing and communications teams to ensure smooth execution of ongoing marketing initiatives and content workflows.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Support content creation for social media, email newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct online research to gather market insights, competitor information, and industry trends.
  • Help manage and update social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with basic reporting.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling posts, organizing documents, and preparing presentations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing outreach and engagement.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in marketing, content creation, communications, or administrative support is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office applications.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
