Overview about the position:

The Growth & Marketing Director for Europe will lead growth agendas across a range of markets and global platforms by integrating e-commerce & retail, full-funnel media strategy, and marketing communications into single, scalable go-to-market engines and solutions. This role is accountable, as part of a team, for driving measurable revenue impact while strengthening brand leadership across Europe business units, and global structures, and for supporting the development of RPM’s Digital Hub portfolio launch to accelerate marketing execution, performance, and operational maturity across complex portfolios.


Key Responsibilities:

1. E-commerce & Retail Growth (B2B and B2C)

  • Own the European growth strategy across e-commerce, distributors, marketplaces, and specialized retail channels.
  • Align commercial priorities, promotions, and activation plans with country-level sales goals and trade calendars.
  • Improve conversion and customer experience across the funnel: awareness → consideration → lead/order → repeat.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Supply and Customer Service teams to strengthen availability, value proposition, and retention.

2. Media Strategy (Brand + Performance)

  • Lead the media strategies (with a focus on Europe) and investment frameworks, balancing brand building and performance outcomes for business units and specific markets.
  • Define channel mix, audience approach, and measurement principles across multiple European markets as needed.
  • Oversee agency partners and internal teams to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and scalable execution.
  • Establish a test-and-learn culture: experimentation roadmap, learning agendas, and continuous optimization.

3. Marketing Communications & Brand Leadership:

  • Evaluate and/or develop and scale a European brand communications strategy that connects technical product value to customer needs.
  • Evaluate and/or lead messaging frameworks for key audiences, retail partners, and strategic accounts.
  • Evaluate and/or oversee content systems and campaign toolkits to enable local marketing and commercial teams (sales enablement).
  • Evaluate and/or support PR, partnerships, and industry events to strengthen credibility, awareness, and market influence.

4. Build a Digital Hub (Europe)

  • Support the development of RPMs Digital Hub support within Eruope as a center of excellence across media execution, analytics, reporting, and commercial growth best practices.
  • Standardize KPI dashboards and operating rhythms tied to growth and revenue outcomes.
  • Improve measurement maturity through incrementality principles, attribution governance, and performance insights.
  • Create repeatable playbooks and scalable frameworks to accelerate cross-market rollouts and reduce execution friction.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience across media strategy, marketing communications, and performance marketing in global/regional roles.
  • Proven leadership managing multi-market stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and agency ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect marketing execution to business KPIs and revenue.
  • Skilled communicator who can translate technical solutions into high-impact messaging and commercial narratives.
  • Fluent english is a must, any other languague will be a plus.
