Volt Sverige is the Swedish chapter of Volt Europa, a pan-European, progressive movement and political party that believes in a united, democratic, and forward-thinking Europe.
We are the underdog fighting for change. We are a scrappy startup in Sweden, but we are part of a growing movement that won more than 1.4 million votes across Europe in 2024 and has 5 MEPs in the European Parliament.
With the Swedish national elections coming up this fall, we need someone to help us tell our story, engage voters across the country, and affect real change. You will help define how Volt speaks to the Swedish public during a critical election year.
What you’ll do:
- Design, write, and produce engaging content across different media (social media, blog posts, press releases, op-ed pieces, flyers and other campaign materials) using Volt Europa’s established brand and voice but that hit home for a Swedish audience.
- Understand our core demographics to tailor messages that resonate with new/young voters, multinationals, academics, and/or those tired of “politics as usual.”
- Build engagement by responding to comments, sparking conversations, answering questions, and building a grassroots community of changemakers.
Who you are:
- We require native-level Swedish and professional fluency in English. You understand Swedish political nuances, cultural context, and humor.
- You have some experience (or a huge passion) creating content across different media and understand why certain content works for certain audiences/channels. You have an analytical + creative mind.
- You genuinely align with Volt’s vision of a progressive, pan-European future.
- You work well in a dynamic, decentralized startup-like organization.
