As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical aspects of manufacturing projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance in final assembly and production systems. You will work with conveyors, lifting equipment, platforms, and steel structures, ensuring mechanical integrity, process optimization, and compliance with safety and legal regulations. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, CAD expertise, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.


Engagement Details:

  • Length: Full-time position, permanent role
  • Allocation: 100%, full-time
  • Start date: March-May, depending on your current situation
  • Location: Gothenburg onsite


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality and mechanical integrity of the project, reviewing technical documentation and checklists at each milestone.
  • Analyze and resolve mechanics-related issues, ensuring functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee installation follow-ups, ensuring correct implementation of mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with shop representatives and engineers to harmonize technical solutions.
  • Secure mechanical function validation and handover processes as part of the project delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools and TeamCenter.
  • Understanding of conveyors, elevators, skids, platforms, steel structures, and lifting equipment.
  • Familiarity with Machine Directive 2006/42 EG and SS EN ISO standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills in a production environment.
