Pacific International has been retained by a leading industrial manufacturer with a presence in Switzerland. This business is looking to bring aboard an experienced Managing Director to oversee a strategic part of the business.
Based in Switzerland, the right candidate will have a strong track record in operations and transformation to take the business to the next level. You will have experience managing a P&L in an international environment, combining strategic overview with a hands-on approach. You will be leading and developing a team during this exciting and strategic transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee P&L of the business
- Drive operations across the entire value chain from supply to customer satisfaction
- Lead transformation where required to meet company targets
- Lead, develop and upskill the team
- Provide insights on existing customer base to strengthen long term partnerships
- Assist broader strategic commercial efforts
Candidate profile:
- Engineering or similar technical degree, MBA a plus
- 10+ years’ experience managing international team
- Experience managing full P&L is a must
- Experience in Operations (quality, maintenance, etc..) a plus
- Industrial background preferred
- Experience with products combining hardware & software a plus
- Proven experience leading transformation
- Must speak fluent English, conversational German
- Location: Must be in Switzerland or open to relocate there
