What We Are Looking For
- University degree: in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering, business administration or comparable field
- Several years of professional experience: including a senior management or executive role within manufacturing, machinery or energy technology
- Proven track record: in strategy, business development and organizational leadership
- Skills: strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering and energy systems or related industries
- Language skills: fluent in both German and English languages
- Attributes: excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as hands-on, decisive and results-oriented personality
- Overall responsibility for two companies: special machinery engineering (~50 employees) and hydrogen electrolyzer systems (~30 employees)
- Define, implement and execute long-term strategies for growth, profitability and innovation in both sectors
- Full P&L ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and risk management
- Represents the companies with customers, partners and stakeholders nationally and internationally
- Strengthens synergies between mechanical engineering and hydrogen technology activities
- Builds and develops leadership teams and organizational structures
- Promotes and reinforce a strong culture of safety, compliance and sustainability
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives
