Lunch Program Coordinator
Hours: 11:55 am – 1:10 pm (Regular hours) and an additional ~5 hours of paperwork per week from home.
Salary: $***** per hour

The Program Coordinator Duties
Daily
Deal with day-to-day issues of staff, parents and students as they arise to maintain a safe environment.
Refer serious or reoccurring situations to the school administration.
Act as a liaison between the administration, parent community, teachers, supervisors and students.
Monthly
Meet with and train supervisors as the need arises.
In conjunction with the school administration, interview applicants for supervisor positions.
Provide information about services of the school lunch program to parents.
Qualifications
Obtain a valid Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Records check.
Commit to Kids Certification.
Interact professionally, always respecting confidentiality.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with children.
Capable of working independently and as a team member.
Possess a minimum of Grade 12 education (or equivalent experience) and the ability to communicate clearly in English through speaking and writing.
Willingness to work in all outdoor conditions and possess the physical ability to perform the duties required.
A knowledge of Excel, current CPR and First Aid training would be an asset.
