Role Overview
We are hiring a Loan Officer to advise borrowers and close consumer or commercial loans. The role combines sales, credit analysis, and a clear understanding of how to move applications from inquiry to funded.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through inbound inquiries, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Conduct borrower interviews to understand financial needs and qualify applications
- Collect documentation and submit applications for underwriting
- Communicate clearly with borrowers throughout the loan process
- Maintain compliance with lending regulations and disclosure requirements
- Manage a pipeline and meet monthly origination targets
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active NMLS license or equivalent licensing required
- 2+ years in loan origination or financial services sales
- Strong understanding of loan products and underwriting guidelines
- Familiarity with LOS platforms (Encompass, LoanLogics, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated with track record in commission-based roles
