Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $60,000 – $95,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.



Role Overview

We are hiring a Legal Researcher to support attorneys with deep legal research and analysis. The role combines strong research craft with clear writing — turning case law, statutes, and regulations into actionable summaries.


Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research across case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources

- Prepare research memos and summaries for attorneys

- Maintain knowledge of legal developments in assigned practice areas

- Support contract review with relevant legal precedent and risk assessment

- Cite-check briefs, memos, and legal documents

- Build internal knowledge resources and research playbooks


Required Skills and Qualifications

- JD, LLM, or equivalent legal training

- 2+ years in legal research roles (firm, in-house, or research provider)

- Strong proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, or equivalent

- Excellent legal writing and analysis skills

- Familiarity with citation standards (Bluebook, ALWD)

- Discretion when handling privileged or confidential material
