Position: Senior Law Librarian / Research Attorney

Compensation: $150–$170 per hour
Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Draft sophisticated legal research questions based on complex firm-level research inquiries
- Develop research scenarios requiring multi-jurisdictional legal analysis
- Frame issues that involve resolving conflicting legal authority
- Design research problems that require deep synthesis of legal precedent and authoritative sources
- Ensure questions are grounded in identifiable and reliable legal references
- Maintain clarity, realism, and practical scope in research problem statements
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a law librarian, research attorney, or senior legal research specialist
- Strong background managing complex or escalated legal research requests
- Deep understanding of professional legal research methodologies
- Exceptional ability to frame nuanced legal issues clearly
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Experience mentoring or training legal professionals in research techniques is beneficial
