Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Legal Recruiter with a strong background in full-cycle recruiting to support hiring across legal and professional staff functions. This role will focus heavily on recruiting attorneys and legal support professionals, particularly within family law and litigation practices, while also supporting hiring for key operational roles across the firm. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing the entire recruitment lifecycle while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Success in this role is driven by the ability to consistently meet or exceed time-to-fill metrics and KPIs, building strong pipelines of qualified legal and professional candidates, delivering a seamless and positive candidate experience, and acting as a trusted liaison to hiring managers and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including intake meetings, job description creation, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Partner with hiring managers and firm leadership to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates.
  • Recruit for a wide range of roles, including attorneys, paralegals, corporate, operations, and support roles.

Candidate Experience & Process Management

  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.

Compensation & Offer Management

  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and salary analysis.
  • Lead offer discussions and salary negotiations.
  • Prepare and extend offer letters in alignment with firm policies.

Recruiting Operations & Metrics

  • Track and manage recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and other KPIs.
  • Ensure timely movement of candidates through the hiring pipeline.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and workflows.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and hiring data within ATS and HRIS systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on legal recruiting.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures and salary negotiation practices.
  • Experience using ATS and HRIS platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and executive leadership.
  • Experience recruiting attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff within family law and litigation environments is preferred.
  • Experience supporting hiring across business functions such as marketing, finance, and operations in a legal environment is highly desirable.
