We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to 2–3 Client Legal Services Attorneys. This role is ideal for a litigation-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has hands-on experience with Florida court procedures and e-filing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily legal and administrative support to multiple attorneys
- Open and manage new lawsuits within case management systems
- Maintain accurate litigation calendars (hearings, deadlines, depositions)
- Prepare, file, and serve pleadings and legal documents (paper & e-file)
- Coordinate and schedule depositions with courts and all parties
- Process high-volume electronic correspondence related to filings
- Draft simple court documents, subpoenas, and assist with medical record collection
- Maintain case files, ensure document organization and version control
- Coordinate settlement check processing and closing documentation
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural requirements
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of experience in litigation, insurance defense, or legal administrative support
Familiarity with Florida legal documents and court procedures
Experience with e-filing across multiple jurisdictions
Strong calendaring and deadline management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and professional communication skills
