Job Title: Learning Designer/Learning Design & Development Specialist

Comment: L&D expertise. Strong visual design, content creation and writing skills. Developing content and visual designs. Need someone with lot of writing experience. Developing eLearning solutions.
Required Education and Experience:
• BA/BS with minimum 5 years of experience with facilitation or classroom training, content creation, and instructional design.
• Experience designing and delivering instructor-led or classroom-based learning, with a clear understanding of learner engagement and real-world application.
• Ability to create clear, engaging learning content using storytelling, scenarios, and real-world use cases that support on the job performance.
• Capability to diagnose performance gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and align learning to behavior change and business impact.
• Experience applying instructional design methods and principles (e.g., ADDIE, action mapping, learning science such as Mayer’s principles) to guide design decisions.
• Visual design capability, including creating clean, learner-centered layouts for presentations, job aids, and digital learning assets that improve clarity and usability.
• Demonstrated ownership of work—from intake through delivery—while managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
• Ability to partner effectively with SMEs and stakeholders to translate complex content into learner-ready materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with technical or process-heavy content (e.g., IT systems, manufacturing, operations).
• Experience developing eLearning or blended learning solutions.
• Proficiency with learning and design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
• Project management experience, including managing timelines, dependencies, and multiple deliverables.

Role Summary
The Learning Designer will support the Animal Health manufacturing business on an IT initiative by designing instructor-led and blended learning solutions that enable adoption, improve performance, and drive behavior change.
We are seeking a self directed learning designer who takes ownership of work from intake through delivery, proactively drives progress, and delivers high quality learning solutions in a fast moving, ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop instructor-led training (ILT) and supporting learning assets to support new IT systems and business processes.
• Translate complex technical and process-heavy content into clear, engaging, and practical learning experiences using effective visual design, layout, and data visualization principles.
• Partner closely with SMEs and business stakeholders to understand performance needs, clarify priorities, and design learning solutions that support effective adoption and on the job application.
• Apply performance-focused design principles to ensure learning addresses real behavior gaps, not just system navigation.
• Independently manage multiple deliverables, driving progress while maintaining strong communication, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
• Iterate on learning solutions based on feedback and evolving business needs
