iWorld Professionals is seeking an experienced Instructional Design Learning Consultant for a remote contract opportunity supporting a global technology leader. This role is ideal for a seasoned instructional design professional who excels at translating complex technical concepts into engaging and effective learning programs.
In this role, you will partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze learning needs, design impactful curriculum, and deliver training solutions that enable users to successfully adopt and maximize advanced technology platforms.

Instructional Design & Curriculum Development Consultant Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to identify learning gaps and align training solutions with organizational goals
- Conduct learning needs assessments and translate business requirements into effective training strategies
- Design and develop custom learning solutions, including:
- eLearning modules
- Instructor-led training (ILT)
- Virtual workshops
- Job aids and quick reference guides
- Partner with customer subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and technical relevance
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and coaching sessions for technical users and teams
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, analytics, and performance metrics
- Continuously refine learning programs to improve engagement, adoption, and learner outcomes
Instructional Design & Curriculum Development Consultant Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) including learning theory, curriculum development, and instructional methodologies
- Proven ability to design engaging learning programs for technical audiences
- Experience developing learning content using LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools, such as:
- Storyline 360
- Camtasia
- Adobe Captivate
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment
