About Monkey Puzzle

Monkey Puzzle provides coaching, training, leadership development and consultancy services to growing organisations, mainly in the tech and professional services sector. The organisations we work with are innovative, ambitious and passionate about helping their people thrive and do meaningful work.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced coach and facilitator to join our team. The core focus of our work is in leadership development, employee health and wellbeing, organisational psychology and organisational development. Our work is varied and we partner closely with our clients. In this role you will provide one to one coaching and facilitation for team sessions, away days and strategy days as required. You may be asked to do consultancy work where you have relevant expertise.

Our philosophy and approach draws together a variety of models, theories and tools in applied psychology. We are constantly updating our toolkit, drawing the the latest academic research, however our expertise lies in supporting people with ‘how’ to bring about change and long lasting development rather than merely understanding knowledge. We walk alongside our clients rather than ‘advise’ them. This makes the work challenging but also highly rewarding as we consider it a great privilege to work with leaders and organisations in this crucial area at a time where people and organisations face so much change and instability but also exciting opportunities.

You will be part of a small, friendly, dynamic team who are committed to providing an exemplary service to our clients and the very best development opportunities to those who use our services. As part of the delivery team you will most likely work closely with a few core clients, as we like the team to build close relationships with clients and understand their organisations at a deep level. Our work means that we deliver our services both face to face on location and also online. The delivery team is supported by a small (and totally amazing) Org Support team who are responsible for supporting our clients and the delivery team to make everything run smoothly. They oversee the scheduling and planning, organise materials and work closely with our clients L&D teams on a day to day basis.

Your Skills & Experience

In order to thrive in this role:

  • You hold a coaching qualification from a recognised provider or accreditation body (example ICF or AoC). A short online training will not be sufficient.
  • You have experience working with a variety of applied psychology methodologies.
  • You have experience of facilitating deep levels of personal change and growth through one to one coaching and group work.
  • You are committed to your own personal development and growth.
  • You enjoy a blend of coaching and facilitation work, seamlessly moving from one to the other.
  • You are passionate about supporting individual, team and organisational development.
  • You have excellent communication skills able to adapt to different audiences, styles and preferences.

Additional preferred experience

  • You hold academic qualifications in business, psychology and/or mental health, ideally at Masters Level
  • You have experience of creating systemic change in non standard organisations (ideally tech or professional services)
  • You have experience of delivering coaching and facilitating in hybrid settings
