Who We're Looking For

Clever is seeking a Lead Video Editor to elevate our ad creative quality and operational consistency. This role will lead the video editing team, guide visual storytelling direction, and maintain the quality and performance standards of all short-form video content across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the post-production workflow and oversee the day-to-day operations of the video editing team.
  • Review and QA all assets to ensure brand consistency, pacing, format, and compliance.
  • Mentor video editors, run internal creative reviews, and lead performance feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with Creative Strategy and Performance Marketing to align video execution with performance goals.
  • Systematize editing templates and processes to improve speed, consistency, and output volume.
  • Own asset naming/tagging systems and archive structures.
  • Own the coordination and output of on-location content shooters.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in video editing and team management within a performance agency.
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; strong motion graphics capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad platforms and best creative practices (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Clear communicator, capable of balancing creative direction with operational execution.
  • Nice to have: Experience working with AI and creative analytics tools.
