Job Description
As a Lead IT Auditor, you will play a key role in assessing and improving the security and dependability of complex IT environments for clients from a variety of industries.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced audit team, working on-site with clients and conducting thorough assessments of their IT systems. Your work will involve evaluating compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting clients in strengthening their IT governance and risk management practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting audits and assessments for IT systems and processes, with a focus on standards like ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, SOC 2, and DigiD.
- Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and actionable manner.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting them in enhancing their IT security posture.
- Mentoring and coaching junior auditors, contributing to their development and supporting knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in auditing
- Fluent in Dutch & English (Full professional level)
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Computer Science, IT Audit).
- Several years of experience in IT auditing, ideally including third-party assurance and compliance audits (ISAE 3402, SOC 2, DigiD).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risks, controls, and compliance requirements in complex IT environments
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to guide and mentor others.
