Key Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales activities and business development towards both national and international customers.
- Maintain and develop long-term relationships with new and existing key customers.
- Sell the company’s entire offering and provide advice on customer-specific and innovative solutions.
- Independently negotiate contracts, prices, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and plan sales activities and implement strategic and operational goals in collaboration with business units.
- Follow up on projects, quotations, and deliveries, and report to relevant stakeholders.
- Work proactively with problem-solving and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Manage CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and business systems (such as SAP).
- Travel is included and may amount to up to 50% during certain periods.
- Monitor market and competitive conditions and initiate appropriate actions.
- University degree in engineering, industrial economics, or similar (preferably mechanical engineering).
- At least five years of experience in technical sales.
- Documented ability to work independently, goal-oriented, and structured.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, CRM, and preferably business systems (e.g., SAP).
- Experience working with international teams and customers.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, strong collaboration ability, and a values-driven approach.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and turn insights into improved solutions.
- Driver’s license is required.
- High degree of flexibility, personal responsibility, and strategic thinking.
