Key Account Manager – Endocrinology (Acromegaly), Scandinavia
About the Role
Briljant Rekrytering is recruiting a Key Account Manager for Camurus.
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to launch and drive the commercial success of an innovative treatment for Acromegaly across Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark & Norway). This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the rare disease space, working with specialist healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
As our KAM for Scandinavia, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing this therapy to patients who need it, building strategic relationships with Acromegaly Specialist Centres and key stakeholders across the region. Operating independently across three countries, you’ll take ownership of your territory while being part of a collaborative Scandinavian team.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Business Development
- Develop and execute the Scandinavian sales territory strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Create tailored account plans engaging specialist secondary care stakeholders, key influencers, and decision-makers
- Identify and leverage new business opportunities aligned with product and therapy strategies
- Utilize data analytics to prioritize key opportunities and address market challenges
- Navigate healthcare structures, patient pathways, and processes to drive commercial success
- Secure formulary inclusions and lead trust-by-trust commercial negotiations to facilitate market access
Strategic Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and Key Opinion Leaders at local, regional, and international levels
- Collaborate closely with the Country Lead and cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs and Therapy Area MSLs
- Develop advocacy initiatives and capture valuable customer insights in the CRM system
- Champion teamwork and share best practices across the organization
Market Intelligence
- Gather and deliver actionable market intelligence to refine commercial strategies and optimize brand positioning
- Monitor rare disease landscape developments, competitor activities, and healthcare funding trends
- Provide strategic insights that keep us ahead of the curve
Education & Promotional Excellence
- Lead customer events and educational programs in collaboration with marketing teams
- Drive awareness and support for the therapy area through impactful initiatives aligned with EFPIA standards
Compliance & Performance
- Consistently achieve sales targets while maintaining the standards of compliance with EFPIA Code of Practice and company policies
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the therapy area, brand portfolio, and competitive landscape
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- University degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
- LIF certification
- Valid driving license
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, preferably within specialty or rare disease therapeutic areas
- Deep understanding of Scandinavian healthcare systems, including NHS structures and funding mechanisms
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting data to enhance territory planning and account strategies
- Excellent influencing, networking, and negotiation skills
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal capabilities
- High commercial acumen with critical reasoning skills
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving within a lean Scandinavian team structure
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-centric mindset with a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
