Avendra International is seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager to manage, grow, develop, and retain a range of key accounts within the hospitality industry. This role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the Netherlands, with travel across the country and wider Europe.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Client Relationship Management: Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure long-term success.
  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Progress Communication: Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Tracking: Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Collaborative Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify opportunities to gain experience business with existing clients by up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve client issues and complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.


Skills and Experience:


  • Hospitality Experience: Significant experience in key account management, sales, or client-facing roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Portfolio Management: Experience in managing a multimillion portfolio (essential).
  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Sales Performance: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make strategic decisions.
  • CRM Experience: Preferred experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Travel: Ability to travel across Europe.
  • Driving License: Required.
