For our client we are looking for a seasoned Key Account Manager Switzerland, who will take full ownership of the Swiss business while exploring selected neighboring markets such as Austria and potential Balkan countries.


In this position you will drive sustainable growth across Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale, Catering and Industrial segments, with a strong focus on strategic key account development — particularly within the Migros Group.


This role combines entrepreneurial market ownership, strategic pricing responsibility, high-level negotiation exposure and customers acquisitions.


Your Responsibilities

Market & Business Ownership

  • Full responsibility for revenue, volume and gross margin performance in Switzerland
  • Strategic development of existing key accounts, with a strong focus on Migros Group
  • Identification and acquisition of new national customers across retail chains, wholesalers, buying groups, industrial customers and catering organizations
  • Development and execution of annual business plans and mid-term sales strategy aligned with Group objectives
  • Budget ownership, forecasting and performance monitoring


Pricing & Negociation Leadership

  • Execution of the Swiss pricing strategy including general price lists and individual customer pricing
  • Definition of private label pricing frameworks in alignment with Sales Director Export
  • Preparation and execution of annual negotiations, tenders and framework agreements


Tenders, Innovation & Portfolio Development

  • End-to-end responsibility for national tenders (acquisition, costing, planning, production alignment, procurement interface)
  • Coordination of product launches with international marketing and production sites
  • Development of tailor-made product and packaging concepts for private label and customer-specific solutions
  • Active collaboration with Marketing to strengthen and expand the Swiss product portfolio


Planning & Market Intelligence

  • Demand and volume planning for current and future fiscal years
  • Ongoing sales performance tracking and reporting
  • Continuous market, competitor and trend analysis
  • Identification of assortment expansion and growth opportunities


International Collaboration

  • Close collaboration with Sales Director Export and executive management
  • Active participation in international sales exchanges
  • Contribution to CRM implementation and commercial excellence initiatives


Your Profile

  • Several years of successful sales experience in Retail, Foodservice or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of the Swiss retail and Food Service landscape with an established customer network
  • Experience managing strategic key accounts (Migros/Coop experience is a strong asset)
  • Affinity to pricing constructions, margin management and contract negotiations
  • Experience in tender and project management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial drive
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong MS Office and CRM capabilities
  • Fluent in German and English (French is an advantage)
  • Naturally curious with a strong hunter mindset.
