Position Overview: We are seeking an exceptionally talented and motivated Junior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic product team. As a Junior UI/UX Designer at MadeMarket, you will work closely with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to create user-centric designs that enhance the functionality and usability of our platform. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with our brand guidelines and design standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in UI/UX design, including internships or freelance work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Claude Design, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Experience designing AI features
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards.
