We are currently on the hunt for a Junior Research Consultant to join our Swiss YouGov team in Lausanne. We maintain a collegial and professional working environment with good benefits and many opportunities to develop your skills. To be considered, you must be a native or near-native speaker of French and have at least a B2 level of English. Proficiency in both French and English is an advantage. As Junior Research Consultant, you will be based onsite in our Lausanne office at least 3 days a week.

As The Junior Research Consultant, You Will Be Involved In Projects Within The Marketing Research Division For Our Clients By Taking On Activities In The Following Areas

  • Assist in the acquisition of projects and preparing proposals.
  • Contribute to the design of quantitative market research projects including the definition of the survey method, sampling and weighting design, research approach and questionnaire development and analysis concept.
  • Supervision of studies and coordination of project staff (service functions) from various business areas.
  • Produce research-led (insight) reports and present findings to clients
  • Execute agile research projects from conception to questionnaire development including programming sample definitions, field monitoring, analysing and presenting results in dashboards and reports.
  • Taking on sub-tasks in larger projects under the direction of senior researchers

These are the essentials you’ll need to be successful:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social science, psychology, economics or business informatics or a related field (no professional experience is required).
  • You have learned about empirical research in projects and modules as part of your degree programme or acquired knowledge through work experience or internships.
  • Experience of working with data programs such as SPSS or R (either at university or in a working environment).
  • Experience of working with MS Office especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
