Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Junior Recruiter on a permanent basis on our People & Culture team.

This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the recruitment process for positions across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). This will require creating sourcing plans, leading interviews, creating offer letters, assessing results of due diligence, and managing post hire inquiries.
- Create equitable salary recommendations leveraging knowledge of job profiles, internal salary structure, collective bargaining agreements, and the labour market.
- Work with team leaders to create and distribute extension letters.
- This role requires approximately 25% travel to career events across Canada.
Who you’ll work with:
You will work closely with hiring managers across the CRS, collaborating often with People and Culture team members to best meet their needs. You will report into one of two Supervisors, Talent Acquisition who value collaboration, adaptability, and cohesion. You’ll be supported by a passionate team of recruiters, HR administrators, and a senior sourcing specialist, driven by a shared belief that people always come first.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Human Resources and Recruitment and:
- Have 1-3 years of relevant experience in human resources.
- Have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have experience providing support in client facing roles.
