Junior QA Engineer (Entry-Level)

About the Opportunity
We are actively hiring motivated Junior QA Engineers who are passionate about software quality and modern automation tools.
This role is ideal for recent graduates, bootcamp graduates, and career transition professionals looking to grow into Automation Engineering.
You will work on real-world web and API applications using modern tools like Selenium, Playwright, and AI-assisted automation tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Responsibilities
- Execute and document manual test cases
- Write and maintain automation scripts
- Perform UI and API testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using Jira
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes
- Collaborate with developers and product teams
- Learn and apply AI-assisted test automation practices
Required Skills
- Understanding of Software Testing concepts (SDLC, STLC)
- Basic programming knowledge (Java or JavaScript preferred)
- Familiarity with manual testing
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman / REST)
- Git version control
- CI/CD basics (Jenkins or GitHub Actions)
- ISTQB Certification is a plus
