Overview

A Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure timely and successful delivery. This role is great for someone who enjoys organizing work, collaborating with teams, and keeping projects moving forward. You’ll work under the guidance of senior project managers to assist with scheduling, communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, flag risks or delays, and help maintain schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure work is completed on time.
  • Support preparation of project documentation including briefs, requirements, and reports.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings; document notes, decisions, and next steps.
  • Help manage project resources, budgets, and procurement tasks as needed.
  • Maintain communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Track tasks and ensure activities align with project goals.
  • Support quality assurance checks to ensure deliverables meet expected standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in project workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Monday.com, MS Project).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and work independently when required.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in project management.
