This is a remote position.
The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role works closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams, making it ideal for an early-career professional seeking to build practical project management experience.
Assist in planning and coordinating project activities, schedules, and resources
Support the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and documentation
Track project progress, milestones, risks, and issues, and escalate when necessary
Coordinate communication between project stakeholders and team members
Assist in preparing project status reports and presentations
Support budget tracking, invoicing, and basic cost control activities
Help manage project changes, documentation, and approvals
Participate in project meetings, notes, and follow-ups
Support post-project reviews and lessons-learned activities
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field
0–2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles
Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Collaborative and proactive mindset
Willingness to learn and grow in a project management role
